PNAC Website is down - neocons haven't paid their hosting bill
As reported in the Lobelog along with this little gem of a quote:

"A metaphor, perhaps, for the bankruptcy of the ideas that inspired the project and the strategic disaster that they produced for U.S. interests in Iraq, the greater Middle East, and the wider world?"

4. Someone here remarked that they're probably revising the content
so they can deny they ever said rubbish like that. They especially need it to go away by 2012, which is when they want to bring Jebbie back as the country's savior after 4 years of a Democratic administration uncovering what bad shape the country has been left in.

In any case, it's all blown up in their piggy faces in the short term. I imagine the bombastic content in the face of such utter and complete blinkered incompetence is deeply embarrassing to all of them.

My guess is that it will quietly come back in a year or two in heavily edited form, perhaps under another name. In the meantime, the signatories have been noted quietly setting up shop at the American Enterprise Institute, quite the shocker, eh?

6. If you follow the first link from LobeLog, it points to...
a Rightweb profile of PNAC, which in essence says it's already been spun off into numerous other neocon groups:

"The Bush administration's war on terrorism spawned an array of other neoconservative organizations and advocacy groups that shared PNAC's views about U.S. global dominance and whose key figures have been associated with PNAC. Several of these entities—such as the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq, the U.S. Committee on NATO, and the Coalition for Democracy in Iran—were formed as ad hoc pressure groups closely associated with PNAC and have now folded or become dormant. Other groups, notably the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD), have emerged as major institutions with large budgets and staffs."

And this little piece of crap:

"The most recent PNAC report, "Iraq: Setting the Record Straight," published in April 2005, is an apologia for the invasion and war. It concludes that Bush's decision to act "derived from a perception of Saddam's intentions and capabilities, both existing and potential, and was grounded in the reality of Saddam's prior behavior." The authors blame the reporting of the UN inspection teams and U.S. government statements, which they say "left wide gaps in the public understanding of what the president faced on March 18, 2003, and what we have learned since." PNAC also charges that administration critics "selectively used material in the historical record to reinforce their case against the president's policy." In other words, PNAC makes no apology for its own role in urging the administration to invade Iraq but rather defends the Bush administration as acting on the best intelligence available."

Bastards won't ever admit they were wrong from square one, it's somehow everyone else's fault but them and their puppet Dumbya.

It is ironic, that the PNAC is broke, all the time they was saying what they are saying before the war in Iraq, and until 2005 in fact say was the right for the US... Now they can't even pay their dam hosting bill.. What a Hilarius irony...

But it might also symbol what the Neo-con thinking are all about.. Broke, broke and then some broke... And now they are doing their best to hide what the neo-con criminal syndicate have been all along.. But what is put on Internet, stays on the INTERNET. And I hope that "someone" have mirrored the whole PNAC site.. And then are made it public to the world.. It is time for the world as a large, and more to the point, the american public to truly understand what the neo-conservative policy have been doing to US, and the US standing in the world... The Neo-con idelogly is just a more suble form of Nazism... World domination, my ass
