I thought it was gripping. I'm amazed that the Rethugs were fine with it. I guess they don't mind that they looked like evil people -- they'd rather be evil and smart winners than feckless and naive losers.

6. Tried to watch it, but I just couldn't.

Brought back so many horrid feelings. Maybe it was just that I wasn't in the mood.

Maybe someday I'll be able to. At the very least, because I like Kevin Spacey. :)

7. The good thing about it, SeattleGirl,

was that it covered so many things so clearly, and in a gripping way. It showed, for example, how the machines could mess up the chads, how the ballot had the two-sides, how the vast majority of people on the purge list did not belong there -- but had been put there on purpose. At the end, they had one guy summing up to another all the thousands of votes that had been messed up one way or another.

It wouldn't have been news to any of us, but I bet it was to many of the people who just turned it on and got hooked by the beginning, and then by the continuing drama. I certainly hope so.
