Saw that "Standard Operating Procedure" movie about Abu G

It's pretty good. The officers in the pictures are interviewed and give their personal accounts of what was going on at the time the pictures were taken. They also interview the person who had to determine the times and dates of the photographs and an interogator that worked there.

It almost makes you feel bad for the officers in the pics because they got thrown under the bus by their superiors... one of the officers claims that she was taking the pictures to prove to civilians that the events took place, she was also writing to her wife the whole time detailing what was going on... even wrote something to the effect of "I'll probably get busted just because I'm in the pictures". Most of the interviewees conveniently blame two guys that are still in prison and couldn't be interviewed. They claim that they were peer pressured into participating in the torture and were told that it was normal procedure.

Another part that's interesting is that they tell you some background info about the people being tortured in the photographs. You also get to learn about the "OGA" (Other Government Agency) officials who would give all kinds of whacky orders and demand that nothing gets logged.

The only thing I would really complain about is that it has these little film-studenty cut scenes of high-speed camera effects of things dropping and breaking in slow motion. Corny.
