This one has been a long time in coming....Not only did Scott McLellan fall out of favor in the Bush administration, his mother Carolyn Strayhorn adamantly opposed Tom Delay's redistricting in Texas along with opposing Rick Perry and the Texas Republicans for taking money away from the children's insurance program in Texas--So much so she decided to run against Perry as an independent. That's about the time McLellan left. He chose to run his mother campaign and fight against the Republican party. I can't speak for all Texans, but I can tell you after the way his mother was treated by Repubs here, I'm not at all surprised to him go after the Bush White House.

I won't say he doesn't share responsibility for the mess we're in now, but I do know when he left his position and his mother was slammed in the gov's election---Anyone who thought he was going to ride off quietly into the sunset was taking a sucker's bet.
