McClellan: Bush was "steamed" that economic adviser put Iraq War cost at "$100-200 Billion"

Good gravy, that would be a BARGAIN compared to what it will cost our great grandchildren.

=====

Bush was "clearly irritated, … steamed," when McClellan informed him that chief economic adviser Larry Lindsey had told The Wall Street Journal that a possible war in Iraq could cost from $100 billion to $200 billion: "‘It’s unacceptable,’ Bush continued, his voice rising. ‘He shouldn’t be talking about that.’"

1. Bush was steamed? Interesting, since his administration has been one steaming
pile of crap.

3. Goes right to the mindset of this Administration. Propaganda, not facts, are basic.

4. I wish McClellan had made videos of Bush's childish tantrums
I'd pay dear money to see the Chimp flailing about and foaming at the mouth, which I understand has occurred behind the scenes on a regular basis. If there were such videos, they would be the funniest things we'd probably ever see in this life.

6. I'm hoping someone tells Bush* in front of others that the war
is going to cost several trillion dollars. Instead of steamed, maybe his head will explode.

10. I don't think he actually cares
how much it's going to cost. What mattered was that the people think it's going to be a cheap victory, with lots of oil to burn.
He knew it would cost billions more, all the more for his corporate crony war profiteer buddies. We weren't supposed to be in on that though.
