Traces of life were expected to be discovered on Mars this month, but these remnants of intelligent life were a shock to many scientists.

One JPL technician was heard to say " :wtf: " A co-worker replied, "Eh, they don't call it the red planet for nothing." Another opined, "Martians. Go figure."

In response to the find, the White House is reportedly developing plans to invade San Francisco.
