5. No nation should be allowed to have them....
its idiotic to think we and Israel are so superior to other cultures that we are the only nations who SHOULD own them.

24. What I meant is
that we do not have a problem with Western Europeans (i.e. Britan and France) also having the bomb.

6. No!
Maybe one of the reasons George & Co. is so worried about Iran having nukes is that they are just like us.

7. Allowed by what?
We have them because we can. When or if there is ever a time that there is a form of organization that has not only the power to tell us we can't, but the power to back it up, then we won't.

Even then, we probably wouldn't listen. What country listens? Any country that has the ability to do something does it.

10. Who is this, the People?
People don't matter. This is a world of, by, and for the institution. As we saw, Japan didn't die after it got hit twice. Individual Japanese people did, but again, people don't matter.

16. Actually, it's ironic.
See, it's fun to judge ourselves by the same standards we judge everyone else...um...by.

(Never use a preposition to end a sentence with. These are words to live by.)

17. There's someone who accompanies our pResident everywhere he goes with the nuclear football.

And the fuggen idiot who can authorize the destruction
of the planet can't even pronounce nuclear.

So, no, it's not a good idea under the present circumstances.

20. Interesting article regarding the pronunciation of nuclear
Confronting 'NOO-kyuh-luhr' Proliferation

snip

Yet the use of ''NOO-kyuh-luhr'' is not uncommon, even among prominent and educated people, including four of the nation's last 10 presidents: Dwight D. Eisenhower, who was widely admonished for it; Gerald R. Ford; Jimmy Carter, who did graduate work in nuclear physics, and also used ''NOO-kee-yer''; and now George W. Bush.

No country should have nuclear weaponry, enough with the little boys having big toys to kill people.

23. Of course not, that's why we have them
The people with the most nukes in the world are the ones least likely to use them "responsibly"- if that term can even be applied to a nuclear arsenal.
