It doesn't look like he's staying away from McCain's campaign. That's what a rational candidate would want of Bush.

are mutually exclusive. Besides, Junior doesn't see his presence in the campaign as a bad deal for McSame. And John knows that, distasteful and disastrous though it may be, he has to dance with the one that brung him.
