Fliescher on MSNBC: Something isn't right about Scott, that's
not like him.

Ari put the blame on George Tenet.

1. He is the third person of the Bush Admin that has said it is just not the
Scotty we knew.

1) Rove said it first this morning.

2) Dana Perino said it second.

3) Now Ari boy. Can't these people talk or say anything on their own without talking points.

4. Ari would be with him if it was about the Scooter Libby thing but
not this. Scott is just not the same person he was then.

Ari is shaken, HARD.

10. LOL, this is better than SNL, what a comedy hour, did you hear them
say that if Scotty did not think the info they sent him out there with was not true, it was his job to acknowledge it or something. Wonder if little Dana passed out on that one. Hell, it is ok if Bush, Rumsfeld, Rove, etc get the wrong info but now for Scotty to say he was not given the correct info was wrong on his part. Dam, Scotty is just not the Scotty I knew.

13. actually, I suspect it's the backbone that surprised them
I think Scotty was the classic case of the fat kid who got to hang out with the cool kids because he patiently put up with them hiding his stuff, pantsing him, playing practical jokes on him, etc. In all his time there, I bet he was the classic kiss ass, and they figured they'd always own him.

Now that he's letting out a bit of his perspective (as revenge? being lied to about Plame seems to have been the last straw), they're shocked that he would turn on them.

11. Nobody would believe McClellan is a little bit slutty
So they have to say that he is a little bit nutty.

It's a damn shame the old Soviet Union isn't still around. They'd incarcerate dissidents in mental hospitals because "everybody knows" that the Soviet is supreme, and any criticism of it would be crazy. Same way with the Bush administration. Rather than go to all the bother of refuting what McClellan wrote, they're just going to say that he's crazy or not right or disgruntled or something else.
