5.64 € per gallon, with today's exchange rate that is $8.82 per gallon in US dollars. center of the Var in south east France (Just over the mountain from Saint Tropez or about 40 minutes west of Cannes but up off the coast. It is more expensive on the coast, it is about $9.20 per gallon there. YOUR FUEL IS HALF THE PRICE OF OURS!!!!! But my car here gets 60 miles per gallon (not a hybrid, and it cost about 12,000 us dollars when I bought it four years ago. Gasoline is about $9.50 per gallon.
