Rush Limbaugh explained Scott McClellan's actions to me today.
Rush said on his show today that liberals get ahold of all kinds of Republicans and lure them into turning their backs on their Republican ideals. Same thing happened to Colin Powell, Rush said ... LIB'RULS got ahold of him! And Scott was pissed for being fired, Rush sez, so he was vulnerable to the liberals, who talked him into writing a bad book criticizing Saint George & Co.

So glad Rush is there to explain things to me. :sarcasm:

7. How else to find out what the enemy is doing ... and where some of the talking points come from?
THAT's why I listen, occasionally, to Rush, Savage, Hannity, Beck, Rusty, Cunninham, etc. When I hear some FOOL spouting Repug. FOOLISHNESS, I often know which radio nitwit it came from.

16. Absolutely right.
Opposition research is as important as honing your own message.

2. I think that is the same way they turned rush gay.
Women were repulsed by him and gay community got a hold of him when he was vulnerable.
Actually that not true either, I'm sure the gay community is repulsed by him too.

5. So, Rush didn't say the following?
1. We're shocked/stunned/dumfounded/ confused/flummoxed about Scott's comments
2. We don't see his problem, because Scott never once raised these objections when he was in the White House
3. This doesn't sound like the Scott we know.. the Scott we know would never say this.

I'm surprised -- that's just about exactly what every other Republican idiot said today -- word for word

18. Dana Perino
"Scott, we now know, is disgruntled about his experience at the White House," said current White House press secretary Dana Perino, a former deputy to McClellan. "We are puzzled. It is sad. This is not the Scott we knew."

They don't need to think before they speak -- they need only read the talking points.

12. I only wish we had that power
Sadly, it has less to do with evil liberals seducing conservatives in a weak moment and more to do with the absolute incompetence and moral bankruptcy of the conservative movement

14. Rush is like the Wizard of Oz, ruling the munchkin population in
their conservative Emerald City fantasy world. Fighting the tsunami of revelations that are being reported must make el Rushbo's job so much more difficult. Think how tough it's going to be in another year? The Wizard's gonna have to work that microphone 'cuz Dorothy about to open that curtain and expose this propagandist fraud for the con man that he really is. There'll be a lot of pissed off munchkins when they find out they've been duped for years.
