But now, the full weight of the machine is a multi-tons weight coming down on McCLELLAN's head: Everybody from the LIMBOsevic-O'LOOFAH axis to the MSRNC yap machine of BARNICLE-Nora O'DONNELL. Yesterday BARNICLE was saying McCLELLAN was "just a gopher - who was supposed to bring the pResident's suit, blue shirt, and tie" and Nora was aghast, stunned - "How could he DO that?!1" Today even the bean counter Chuck TODD got into it, saying that the only motive he could see for his doing what he's doing is that "he wasn't a very good press secretary, didn't do a good job for the pResident, could see everybody else doing well--DeeDee MYERS, FLEISCHER, McCURRY---and McCLELLAN probably wasn't getting any job offers, not even recommendations... And there was no way he would be sitting in a rocking chair with (Shrub) 20 years from now."


The word in between the excerpts is that McCLELLAN still pulls his punches, sez Shrub didn't LIE, didn't KNOW, was MISGUIDED (not corrupt and inept). O'LOOFAH said yesterday that the book won't sell, that nobody is going to pay $30 for it, that he's guessing 40,000 max. It's steep for me, but I hope it goes through the roof.

The media is hitting back by shooting the messenger. In an obvious attempt to discredit the book, the MSM is trying to destroy McClellan for daring to expose them.
Edited to add: I have to struggle for grocery money, but damn, I'm buying that book!

I've been hearing and reading a lot of how McClellan is a "treacherous, bitter ex-friend" who has "betrayed confidences" and is "trying to get back at the Administration."

I have yet to hear anyone say that he is lying or otherwise telling untruths.
