CSPIN - fascinating talk by Kevin Phillips,
author of Emerging Republican Majority (1969).

does he skewer George the Wth or does he not?

He claims Nixon would not recognize what has become to his party.

10. No doubt Dumbya's syncophants are telling him hourly...
"But Lincoln, Truman, Eisenhower, etc... weren't popular during their terms, yet HISTORY regards them kindly." It's all about the legacy. Hold your breath Georgie. Please.

Whatever gets you through the day, I guess.

5. too many democrats calling in as GOP.
My ass.

It is just that some GOPers are waking up to the fact that their party leaders are inane doofuses who have destroyed this country.

6. Denial...Ain't Just A River Anymore...It's An Entire Party
They still don't get it...and that's not a bad thing. The morons calling in trying to shut him down are the very reason his party is imploding. It'll be my pleasure to help kick their asses in November...in fact it's gonna feel real, real good.

Phillips said he would vote OBama, too.
He thinks that BushCo were an utter canker sore on American politics. He just said it better than I could

9. Kevin Phillips is a REAL conservative.
Amazing how the real conservatives in the GOP are people you can actually have a discussion with, you may not agree with them on some issues , but it doesn't spiral out into name calling and venom spitting. I agree with Kevin Phillips pretty much all of the time. I don't know who these people are that call themselves conservatives, but they aren't, they are just bigoted, hate-filled, sorry excuses for human beings.
