Why does Media promote lie that Scott McClellan was fired by Bush? He Resigned....
yet from David Gregory to the rest of the Media Pundits and the Right Wingers...they repeat a Lie...that Scott was FIRED by Bush...and not that he Resigned.

Why does no one call the MSM out on this?

5. Thanks...that's what all the MSM Reported...It was just a "normal WH Shakeup"
yet all the pundits seem to know more than they were reporting at that time. I guess they just did an "oops" and forgot to inform us that what "THEY HEARD" was that Scotty was fired...but they didn't tell the American People...like the rest of the stuff they didn't tell us that we here on Liberal Blogs found out for ourselves. :-(

6. I believe he was forced to resign because he'd "outlived his usefulness" to Bush
having lost his credibility via Plame and Katrina. He ran his own mother's political campaigns--he was no innocent hayseed, and I think he would have remained loyal to the cause if he'd been allowed to stay on.

Also keep in mind that Scott was not rewarded with a cushy job like Judith Miller and John Ashcroft did, and I've heard that his book advance was less than 100K. So I think he really needs the money more than he just wants to cash in.

I think he's running on a combination of need (vesus greed) and revenge.

7. Because people have short memories
and they're stoopid. Saying it does make it so, I know you know that already:evilgrin: besides this way it sets up the smear machine against simple scotty... fired + disgruntled employee = book of lies.

8. Josh Bolton forced his resignation.
I recall reading about it at the time.
