11. With An Upcoming Election? This Congerss? Yeah Right

The end-game will be defacto impeachment...and more important is starting the process of going after those who can't be impeached and did the real crimes...Rove, Bolton, Meiers and others who have obstructed justice and hold the real keys to impeachment. Crack these nuts open and your case goes from circumstantial (and yes it still is...no smoking gun) to compelling.

I could possibly see the ball roll right after the election...similar to how it was done to Clinton...using the lame duck session to check this regime as it tries to sneak out the door, launch a war in Iran and try to cover up their fleecing. A large Democratic win would also embolden those who are pushing this (Congressman Wexler, Conyers and Waxman)...and maybe articles could be passed through the House (doubtful there still would be a conviction in the Senate). Just remember that any indictment will be met with both "executive privilidge" (that still hasn't been hashed out in court) and pardons galore. The Chicago papers are already buzzing with the possibility that booosh will pardon George Ryan. I'm sure that pardon list in his desk is a very long one.

Snotty's book is not direct evidence, but points to where that evidence lies. He should be compelled to testify before the Judiciary Committee ASAP (before July 10th) and put the public and media pressure on Rove to show...and if not, to use inherent contempt. This is gonna take a lot longer than a month.

Time is the avenger here...and as this regime sinks further, more rats will jump ship each contributing to the historical and legal record that will be this regime's ultimate legacy.
