Freepers discuss why Jews vote the way they do and the mind reels
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2023533/posts

The few Jews that I have got to know over the years were actually conservative in politics, but liberal in their theology. From what i have I read, Jews overall were very sensative to the civil rights movement of the last century and that has alot to do with their liberal leanings.(1st amend issues, race, etc,).

I disagree somewhat with much of the article, but this is very true. It is an example of what Freud called the narcissism of minor difference. Probably the only good idea Freud ever had. Too many Jews spend absurd amounts of time worrying about idiotic issues like a government Christmas tree while ignoring the use of public funds for Islamic interests.

There is virtually no WASP anti-Semitism left in the U.S. But there is plenty of anti-Semitism is in the RAT party that Jews have yet to admit to themselves.

Liberalism disorganizes and weakens American society and Western society in general, and it empowers those individuals and groups that succeed within the context of politicized bureaucracies. Generally speaking, many Jews feel threatened by a strong and cohesive West and, again generally speaking, Jews thrive within politicized bureaucracies. I think a socialistic world government is perceived explicitly or instinctively by many Jews to be the most effective way to prevent another holocaust and to provide for the advancement of Jews and Jewry.

The whole ‘underdog’ mentality is part and parcel of the Romanticist movement in the 19th century.

Noble savage, oppressed group, the People (always with a capital ‘P’)...etc.

This ridiculous mindset has hung around for so long that it has become the institutionalized insult Liberals perpetually cast in the face of anyone whose logic or reasoning is inconsistent with this ritualized idolatry of the ‘downtrodden’, common man, etc. ... never mind how long these same perennial losers have permitted themselves to be exploited, wantonly chosen brutal criminals as leaders and no matter how readily or shamelessly they have habituated themselves to any sort of servitude or degradation for immediate, personal and temporary benefit. It has been said that ‘the common man is to history what sea level is to geography’... only no one has ever said this to a Liberal, that's the problem. They have never figured out how the world works, BUT insist on forcing their gullible world view on everyone else!!!!

If you think about it, why would any rational American believe in Marxism, yet many people here do. Many Jews throughout history throughout the world have been Marxist and believe in the ideology. The other reason is Jews are anti-christian. Whatever party is most anti-christian is the party they vote for.

THIS ONE IS FUNNY

If the vicious anti-Mormon and anti-Catholic venom seen here on FR were directed at the Jews, ( and it certainly could be) I would say, yes, Jews are completely correct to fear some Christians.

There is so much more. Have a drink or three and read if you dare. Amazing analysis.

6. This is an exercise in RW mind bending. They have no idea how
anyone else reasons about faith or politics. For them to have to stretch any thought around a different religion, that in general,to which republicans wish to remain blissfully ignorant, is hilarious. Then to have them try to communicate their thoughts, is a riot.

Thanks for this chance to see logic convoluted into spaghetti.

12. I always thought it was because of FDR
Edited on Fri May-30-08 07:55 PM by Juche
FDR led the US during WW2 while the republicans wanted to keep the US out of ww2. I always thought it was a side effect of that. That and the fact that the jews can sympathize with oppression which tends to lead people into the democrat party. That seems to be Prelutsky's point though.

I do love this part though.

"If I am asked one question by my readers far more frequently than any other, it’s why do so many American Jews insist on aligning themselves with the far left. Believe me, being Jewish myself, it’s the question I most frequently ask myself.

It’s certainly not because Jews are stupid, evil, unpatriotic or dependent on government handouts for their survival, four reasons that certainly explain why millions of my fellow Americans will eagerly line up to vote for any political crackpot so long as he or she is running as a Democrat."

LMAO. This guy is great. We need to take guys like Prelutsky and spread their message far and wide. THe more people who hear this drivel, the fewer and fewer rational voters will want anything to do with the GOP.

13. A flyby Wikipedia warrior
As well as a anti Semitic, racist, freep conspiracy theorist, who has somehow convinced themselves that they have more brains than your average toilet.

Disgusting combo.
