Anyone sick of the newscasters being "the news?"
I'm watching MSNBC, and just think how much real news could be discussed if they stopped talking about Fox.

Why give those dumb asses the time of day?

3. I channel surf among the news programs

And then stop to watch - like watching the aftermath of a car wreck. You just can't unglue your eyes no matter how awful.

4. I like the merciless ridiculing of O'Reilly on MSNBC
but I also watch alternative channels like FSTV and LINK-TV and Democracy Now for a refreshing pause, where you can find intelligent analysis of what's going on in the real world beyond the little tube and its little personalities.

5. I listen to Democracy Now on my iPod.
Although I tend to do that at bedtime, and I don't think it's too good for my blood pressure - or sleep!

6. I like MSNBC Alot!
It's just a great gabfest. Tonight Sam Donaldson and Bob Franken were yakking it up on Dan Abrams. It's Friday night at 9 pm - where else are you gonna get a great mix like that.

PS: After Hours, Dan Abrams occasional late night political show has a jazz band! And they take off their ties! Plus O'Really? deserves all the flack he gets, and more.

7. But I don't want to see O'Reilly's face!
Sometimes, I channel surf to Fox during the day, but avoid the evening. I don't want to hear all the yelling and screaming.

For that matter, I can only take KO in small doses. He's too much like the O'Reilly on the left. :( His interview with McClellan was fantastic, however. I wish he did more of that kind of "journalism."
