1. I'm watching it now
It's agonizing.

Every member of Congress, every member of the Washington press corps, every ratbastard in the White House should be forced to watch this.

3. True, remember many members of Congress saw the torture
photos as well. :(

I've seen outrage from some of them, not enough to hold this administration accountable.

5. Robert Byrd
A true noble man. A hero.

Pete Stark, too.

A lot of Democrats to cheer for, having the wherewithal to say that rushing into this INVASION (it's not a "war") was wrong.

The show ends with the news that that poor boy slipped into a coma. Jesus ..............

6. Sad... Update: Body of War - Tomas Young
"BODY OF WAR introduced viewers to Tomas Young, a young veteran who was paralyzed less than a week after arriving to fight in Iraq.

The past week has been difficult for the Young family. As reported by Bill Moyers, Tomas briefly fell into a coma brought on by a clot in his lungs. According to his mother Cathy, he is now awake and speaking for a few hours a day.

Tomas Young and his family welcome correspondence, and you can write them at:

Tomas Young - patient
Saint Luke's Hospital
4401 Wornall
Kansas City, MO 64111"

7. It was great, sniff, sniff
I liked the part where Donahue spliced the video so we could see the GOP toadies parroting
Bush talking points. How sad and what a young man to go through the ordeal that he has.
Truly an inspiration for us.

12. And I watched it again.
Tomas Young is a remarkable young man. I was so sorry to hear of his deteriorating condition at the end of the broadcast.

13. yes, the most amazing message is everyone is worth it
Edited on Sat May-31-08 12:04 PM by MissWaverly
nobody is just a comma in Iraq's history. The shot where the Gold Star mothers just had to touch him and the young woman
that kissed him instead of her lost love one was beyond sad.
