Dateline: BAGHDAD, Dec. 23 Iraq on Sunday challenged the United States to uncover weapons of mass destruction in the country by inviting the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to accompany U.N. weapons inspectors in their investigations.

Amir al-Saadi, an adviser to President Saddam Hussein, told a press conference, "Iraq is ready to allow the CIA to send its staff to accompany the inspectors to guide them to the sites the U.S. claims to contain prohibited weapons Iraq is concealing."

Saadi also reaffirmed that Iraq had nothing to add to the weapons declaration ...

2. The decision to occupy Iraq was made prior to 9/11.
No matter what Iraq did wasn't going to change the plan, the ball was rolling.

3. The lack of evidence was evidence
Bush** was never going to believe there were no WMD in Iraq. The harder the inspectors searched for weapons and didn't come up with any only proved in his paranoid mind that they'd been moved to a secret hiding place. He's playing the same games now with Iran.
