I met a 76 year old Republican woman for Obama yesterday.
I was at the house of my friend, who had just graduated, and her whole family was there, and i was approached by a little old lady. I knew the family was very conservative, so when she found out i am a political science major, she asked what i thought of the election right now. Not wanting to get in an argument in the middle of the party, i just said "I like Obama".

She leaned in real close to me and said "....me too! But I have to say that real quiet around here." She laughed and told me it would be her second time voting for a Democrat, the first being Bill in 1992 (She didn't vote for him in 96, however).

i just thought i would share that with you all

2. Neat! My 99YO grandpa will be voting for Obama at age 100.
It's his goal to live long enough to vote in this election at age 100!

3. By November, there will be more ladies like her
. . . than like Harriet Christian.

4. The dirty little secret
Older women LOVE good looking young men. They're not as up front as a typical 18-year-old male lusting after a fashion model, but the sentiment is there all the same.

8. Because he is?
and because I have seen this exact same reaction from a number of other older women.
