I mean, like um, didn't Dick Cheney pick himself last time as Shrub's VP while head of the RNC? Couldn't he do that again?

3. Yes.
Cheney has never been President. He can be VP for life. And since he's undead, we're talking centuries.

5. So ask McCain if he would consider Dick Cheney as a running mate.
He either has to say yes or no. Box him in and force the issue. Either you think Cheney is a great conservative republican or you don't.

Of course he would dodge the question by saying Cheney isn't interested and wants to spend time with his family. But you could still hammer him with the question of whether he would like Dick Cheney to be on his ticket otherwise.

6. That would be a good thing to do.
But I doubt anyone would ever bring it up to McCain. Great thinking on the twist.

7. I would love that. Run with a guy with a 19% approval rating in the same job
I don't think McCain would do that, he is trying to distance himself from * yet keep all the same policies. I'm still trying to figure out how he is getting away with that.
