3. What good is it to have a majority in both chambers and a lame duck president?

5. How is Bush a lame duck when he gets everything he wants?
The lame sons-of-bitches are the Democrats who voted for this shit.

7. I'm really curious to learn more about the mention of the SOFA
mentioned in this article. Next we'll hear the Security Agreement has been signed with no input from Congress.

http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/house-bush-reach-deal-on-war-supplemental-2008-06-18.html

"The compromise bill will include about $165 billion in funding for the Iraq war with no conditions, such as banning torture or blocking a “status of forces agreement” between the Bush administration and the Iraqi government.

4. And they just keep on enabling Shrubby's...
...war addiction. "C'mon guys, just just gimme the scratch for one more fix. I promise it'll be the last one. Everything'll be cool after this, you'll see."

6. How many of them are making money off the war is the question.
Why let the money stop flowing when they don't have to by simply continuing to consent to an illegal occupation (money pit), only the pit is a secret where the money gets just fucking lost in every direction.

11. Most people with money invested in the market...
if you had short funds and switched to a long position the day of the Iraq War vote in 2002 you've done rather well.

Follow the money trial, and you would find who's is getting the most out of the money...

And then PROSECUTE the swines.. And get "some" of the money back.. That is the way to do it I guess

13. Well that pretty much does it for me.....
NO MORE of my money to the Dems...and I could give a fuck less if we wind up with a Repug Pres and Congress!! Give me my Pizza now and at least I get some satisfaction, I would prefer some pepperoni if it can be arranged. Fuck the "blue dogs" and Pelosi and Reid..I have given enough (50 yrs worth) and even though I live in Vermont, I cannot support the Democratic Party any longer! They have let me down for the last time and I don't need the fuckin stress.

I am going to spend the rest of my life watching reruns of all the shows that I grew up with, and no more cable or network news shows. Good Luck to all you "younguns" who still have faith...me...I'm done getting fucked with a soft prick!!

14. Pelosi/Reid did NOTHING!
$162 Billion more for Bush.... Pelosi and Reid dropped all restrictions on the Iraq War. They gave that little tin-horn dictator EVERYTHING he wanted. In return, we'll get 13 weeks of unemployment (maybe). 13 lousy weeks.. if I'm lucky I'll be able to pay the electric bill a few more times. I was talking to many of my neighbors in a diner tonight. The atmosphere was very subdued, almost sad. But there was an openness and candor that I have not noticed before? The talk was about the ECONOMY and what is on the way. Every one acknowledged that there is a roaring train coming down the tracks, it can not be concealed any longer. No amount of Tim Russert or Tax Rebates or Hanna Montana is going to divert people's attention from their empty stomachs. Even if people don't say it out loud... it goes unsaid..they know what is happening, and they are scared. Congress has given Bush (so far) $600 BILLION for Iraq, $200 BILLION for Afghanistan. We are broke and the waiter just brought the check.
