Wouldn't that be kind of like admitting to war crimes? It's kind of like OJ's book... "I'm not saying I am a war criminal, but if I were a war criminal ... these are the war crimes I would want to not be responsible for"

1. Obviously from 2006...
He mentions Majority leader Frist, and the fact that the Dems are taking over the House and Senate in November. That already happened, and Frist has been gone since 2006.

3. I think that the victims of the war crimes have to grant the immunity.
Americans can't grant immunity to other Americans for war crimes against Iraq. That's just absurd.

Also, you have to have admissions of the alleged war crimes and at least apologies for the wrongs. The idea of granting blanket immunity won't work. Congress is not God. Congress is not even an ordained priest. What authority do they have to grant immunity for past crimes. That is just saying that from now on, the administration can do whatever it wants and blackmail Congress into immunizing it regardless of how serious the crimes are. No, no, a thousand times no.

Put a kid in jail for stealing a car for a joy ride and then immunize a war criminal? And then claim you are tough on crime? No.
