Bush sneaks in to NC to do a fundraiser. It's hush-hush
since the Repuke running for Governor knows that even here in NC, Bush is a liability. But, he can use the money. They've banned all media and are holding it at a private residence with no fanfare. LOL.

Security tight for Bush appearance at McCrory fundraiser

RALEIGH, N.C. — Security was tight in a north Raleigh neighborhood Friday in advance of a visit from President George W. Bush.

More than 100 people were expected to pay at least $4,000 each to attend the Raleigh fundraiser.

It was unclear how much the event would raise.

1. Look here to see the official function he is performing so he doesn't have to pay for the trip
While in North Carolina, Bush will also present a Clayton teenager with the President's Volunteer Service Award.

6. Almost all the fundraiser trips have been done this way.
Not to mention the campaign trips where they pay commercial fare for the use of AF1.

7. Right-he invited himself to the MLK birthday in Atlanta so he could do two fundraisers
one in Atlanta and one in New Orleans

I don't remember off hand what year that was but the King family, of course, was courteous and didn't publicly embarass him (as the office holder).

5. I seriously doubt she will be in any photo-ops!
One, because she is *never* in NC and in fact doesn't actually live here.

Two, because even here in NC being photographed with Bush is not so good.
