3. 18% of my pre-tax income is going to my 401k, and I have about 10 years until retirement
My employer puts about a 6% match on what I have withheld.

I am buying a mix of stock and bond funds, mostly stock now. The lower the indexes, the more shares I buy.

In the long run, a bear market now should be a win for people at my stage of life. People who were counting on selling stocks now have made a miscalculation.

5. I'm in the same boat I guess....

Hope to retire at 55...might work part time, but hope I have a choice.

6. Yes being born in the 40s & 50s was a grave miscalculation, too bad they didn't have the foresight
to delay their births until a more advantageous time.:eyes:
