Why would there be riots at the Denver convention, but not the Republican one?

Who do they think will be rioting in one city, but not in the other?

Are the police in Minnesota stocking up for riots there like Denver is?

It seems strange that we hear these rumors every so often, but never about trouble at the RNC.

Have I just not been paying attention, or is it completely one sided? (again)

anyone would actually protest the party that designed and implemented the disastrous policies that brought us to the current social economic and ecological disasters.

4. Because the only people "rioting" in Denver will be Republican operatives.

Some of them will probably be dressed up as "disaffected leftists" or "angry Hillary supporters" or whatever, but they'll all be Republicans in lefty drag. The demonstrators in the Twin Cities, on the other hand, will all be law-abiding Democrats—so, no riots. It's interesting to note that the St Paul and Minneapolis police have decided against the use of "free speech zones," so demonstrators won't be caged miles from the convention center. That's how un-worried they are about rioting, despite the fact that large numbers (perhaps in the tens of thousands) of demonstrators are expected to show up.
