Is Barbara Boxer doing enough on Global Warming?
It seems to me like this capable woman is too quiet...to much out of the limelight on this central issue.

Looking at how that b@stard Inhofe wormed his way into the "debate", it is fitting to expect Boxer to do the same in the cause of truth.

Where is she?

Is it the fault of the media, or is she missing the point somehow?

Check it: http://epw.senate.gov/public/

Nearly everyone in this thread is saying the same thing I am, yet I'm somehow "stalking" you.

Nobody else here is doing that.

17. Uh, actually, several people have noticed strange patterns in the threads you post.
For some reason, however, YOU never seem comfortable owning up to your own work.

2. Any reason in particular you are focusing on Boxer?
as opposed to any other senator? Or will we get to see a thread a week about each senator in the future?

3. We're going to alter the environment/climate no matter what we do
Since we have to grow, no aspect of our society can't not grow, it doesn't matter what she or anyone else does. Unless a politician will promise the voters less. If they did that though, they wouldn't have gotten the votes that put them into office.

9. I have never critisized anyone (ie. Edwards) for having a house that was too big.

Is that so bad?

Am I "attacking" her?

15. Barbara Boxer is doing plenty. She always does plenty. She is
a fine fine fine representative of the people's interests. She's a Democrat.

A loyal one.

An energetic and responsible one.

Just for the hell of it, why don't we acknowledge her considerable contributions to our party? Is that at all manageable?

18. Boxer would be a huge, huge plus in any administration, as veep or as
virtually anything.

She's strictly top-drawer. Her respect for Al Gore is more evident now than ever.

21. Have to tell you that the first time I sojourned in California to volunteer
for Barbara Boxer, the people running her office in the Bay Area were unbelievably civil to me, while at the same time, doing a million other things expertly.

I was dazzled by their professional expertise but enchanted by the way they treated me and the other volunteers.

We were well-meaning yahoos, REAL new to the game of politics, and they were incredibly sweet-natured to us, and patient, and great mentors.

Not to mention they had one hell of a great candidate.
