16 judges ( 14 currently and 2 vacancies ) 10 appointed by Bush senior ( 2), Bush Jr. (3) and Reagan (5). Including such luminaries of Rethug justice as David Sentelle, Laurence Silberman, Douglas Ginsburg and Janice Rodgers Brown.

This is another reason those nominations were so important to them and why they fought so hard for these appointments. They have many favors to be called in for the heat they took to get some of these people on this court. Many favors.

1. that list of judges is not encouraging.
The Congress must step up to the plate, and investigate Cheney's involvement in this whole disgusting case. Fitz did what he could now it is up to the Congress or House of Representatives. We have to push them hard, now.

2. Even with that dismal lineup,
they are going to have to prove that an error of law was made. Fitzgerald was very careful.

We need to start pressuring Congress now and not let up until they start asking the really tough questions.
