This will be the headlines in the next few days; all the jurors even tho he was guilty will demand a pardon; all the repukes are demanding a pardon; Fitz will be indicted for indicting Libby; Libby gets the Medal of Freedom; Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame will be arrested for God knows what and our idiot leader will automatically be given another four years.

welcome to the lunatic USA or the Cookoo's Nest

4. I don't either! Even one of the jurors said they thought this trial
was about outing a CIA agent, but then found out is was only about purgery.

Of course the reason everyone thinks the trial was aobut outing Plame is because almost EVERY talking head kept talking about Valerie, and Joe,and who really outed her. VERY FEW if anywere talking about purgery andthat it's a FELONY!!!!!

5. Indeed they don't. Perjury is against the law. Period. No pardon.

7. After those 2 jurors on Tweety
I wouldn't be surprised. I wish people who scream about defunding and impeachment would watch those two until the idiocy of this country sinks into their heads. I don't think those two are republicans either, I bet they describe themselves as independents which can mean anything from the super chic lefty hate all politicians to the cynical libertarian. I can't recall being more flummoxed than to hear people talk about a man guilty of covering up war lies as 'nice'.

10. Just because he presents himself well does not make him "nice".
Good point!

13. I was horrified. Simply horrified.
I could not believe I was hearing it.

Hopefully, those idiots will read something about the case now that they're through with it.

14. I thought I was finally immune to it
After all we've heard for four years, the last year or so I had gotten to a point where I could ignore the insanity and even watch Tucker and laugh. With the election and run-up, I thought the tide had finally turned and America was wise to these assholes. I swear, I've never been more discouraged than after watching those jurors. They don't get it at all, it IS horrifying. What do we do now???

8. help me understand
the only way to accept a pardon is to admit his guilt. If the WH pardons him, they will have to admit wrong doing as well. Sounds like a catch 22. Like check mate.

9. Not according to Kate-O-Burn.
She redefined the word today on Tweety. A pardon no longer means having to admit guilt. Wing-nuts live in their own fantasy land.

12. A pardon would be evidence that the Bush Administration sanctioned Libby's conduct.

15. If the jury truly felt that way
they could have nullified the whole thing.

16. Demonstrations
As a write, there is a vast crowd, braving the snow in front of the White House, carrying placards demaning "Padon Libby!" NOT.
