The locals cite the fed's fuckup with Stephen Hatfil and then having to pay him millions. The evidence they heard today sounded way too weak and circumstantial.

I think that's the opinion here on DU as well.

As for Ivins - I find it just a bit too convenient that they had a crew lined up to trash him immediately after his death. A "therapist" who can't spell the word?

2. The kicker is, no autopsy. That should be an immediate dealbreaker

even for those who desperately want to believe the official storyline and can't see the connection to 9/11. Then to declare the case "closed" will ensure that it will always stay open in the public mind.

Some DUer coined the phrase "he's been Ivinsed", for being suicided on another thread. That could become a new word if we spread it.

They live, essentially, in the 'company town'. They know what goes on in the company's back rooms and what the unreported buzz is. Not always accurate, but often so.

I just went to the website and it is updated from last night. The print story makes no mention of the view of neighbors. There are a number of videos linked on the story page, but I was didn't the one I saw last night. It might be there, but I didn't wade through the intro commercials.

What was I thinking, this fairy tale is all about sealing up the case. No need for that level of certainty anymore.
