Proposed Bill Could Make Man's Urine Fetish A Crime
Proposed Bill Could Make Man's Urine Fetish A Crime

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio lawmakers are considering action to prevent a crime against children that has attracted national attention.

State Rep. Jim Hughes has proposed legislation that would make it illegal to collect bodily fluids form a juvenile. A second offense would be a felony punishable by up to one year in prison.

The proposal comes after Allan Patton, a Northwest side man, was arrested in June at Dublin's Sports Ohio complex for allegedly placing Saran Wrap on toilets and cups in urinals, 10TV's Kevin Landers reported.

At the time of his arrest, Patton told officers that he was not hurting anyone and that he suffered from an illness, according to a police report.

6. How bizarre.... That they are proposing a bill against this, I mean.
So, one sick fuck likes to collect pee and Ohio needs to legislate against that? Jeez, what a waste of taxpayer money and legislator's time.

Will they make a law against short-sheeting a bed too?

8. What about medical doctors?
A high school student is ordered to provide a urine sample. Maybe he is an athlete and the school or interscholastic league requires testing for steroids; maybe he is being charged with drug use. Could he refuse on the grounds that the person doing the collecting would therefore be engaged in a criminal act?

9. Its stupid to pass a law for this? How many cases of such nature have there been? One.
But I bet there will alot of "colleteral damage" from such a bill that no one thinks about now.

13. Would this be financially beneficial to municipal sewage collection?
I'm asking a serious question, that may be an unintended consequence of this alleged legislation.

Urine and its byproducts are considered fertilizers. If someone is collecting urine to put in a compost pile or some similar plant fertilization scheme, such as with a composting toilet, or other similar collection and disinfection scheme, would this law make that illegal?

Based solely on the report text in the OP, it seems to me it would. So, it's an anti-green law financially beneficial to municipal sewage departments masquerading as an anti-pervert law?

I guess another question is would this law make municipal sewage collection illegal, since they collect urine from all people they serve, including juveniles? Would they exempt such municipal collection services, but disallow others such as self-recycling of human waste into the garden?

No matter he's not be hurting anyone and he has an illness. Therapy might be helpful. A law though? Not necessary.

23. This was not the only place this guy was trying to do this
this guy has been praying on kids for nearly two decades...he is a molester and needs to be behind bars. No new laws need to be created for him.

I live here in the Columbus area, this guy is a sicko pedophile who also happens to enjoy pee as well as molesting children. There are already laws on the books for child molesters here.

26. he suffered from an illness, according to a police report.
Ya think? Maybe he should drink more beer himself and pee in his mouth while erect
if he needs to get really pissed.

Maybe a cup of yeast infected, kidney stone laden, dehydraded and yellow as the sun
batch would treat his illness?
