1. So far, I have been very happy with DISH. They have FSTV which has
Democracy Now. Last night on one of the other channels they had a whole hour of Mark Crispin Miller talking about Election Fraud. It was fantastic.

I also have to option to blackout FAUZ NOISE!! I love it.

3. Whereas convention coverage used to be on all three networks because it was in the public interest..
...now you get to pay for it!

What a country!

7. This is how it should always work..not just for conventions
There should be channels DEVOTED to politics...one for independents, one for democrats & one for republicans.. 24-7..

a person should be able to go to a particular channel and find something THEY want to see..

There are channels specifically for religion..why not politics..and specific brands of politics?

15. Well, the GOP has a sackful of networks with only a few holes like Keith
and Rachel. The Fairness Doctrine is but a pleasant memory.

9. I was gonna post that, too. I just saw it, but I won't watch any of the coverage.
Because I will be there.

12. We still have our TOYs !
I bought the S2000 last month because, dammit, I wanted it! :D (Mom told me a few months ago to enjoy the inheritance...I am doing precisely that and it helps me to remember her every day. I refuse to feel guilty about it)

13. Is CSpan covering the convention(s?) Maybe Dish is just picking up the feed from them?`
All I know is what they're saying on 211.
