came up with a nickname for a mccain-romney ticket
during the primaries - romney was repeatedly hit with the flip-flop label, mccain's operatives even went so far as to play the theme song from "flipper" at a few functions

we have all seen mccain's flip-flops, and if he taps romney for VP - then does that mean it's a Flipper-Flopper ticket?

3. I agree
They already opened it up to run ads with all the stuff Romney said during the primariesk, and if they pick him, not only will those remarks be used, but his wealth along with McCains 7 to 10 homes, will really make the "elite" label stick to them, not Obama!

5. McCain will choose someone close to him
McCain, like the abomination before him, wants loyalty over competence.

7. Mormon + money equals alienating the RW evangelicals and the blue collar folks. (Although,
there is a weird mindset among the RW working class that they should never vote for anyone's best interest but the rich, because they will be one of them someday. That, and they are deadset against unions even though they would be _helpful_ to them. :silly:)

Twit and Mitt '08
They can campaign together and McCain can tie Mitt to the top of the plane or bus.

If it was good enough for his dog when he was on a family vacation, it's good enough for him.

11. POW Ken Doll
He leaves Barbie for Skipper. Travels with the family dog tied to the roof of the car - that he is always crashing.... and likes to pretend he's a super-hero when he puts his funky undies on. Has sculpted on hair and veneers whiter than he is....and his brain is as smooth as his pelvic region. He's a candidate of 1... because you can't tell the difference between the two.

But that's probably not what you mean...

20. Mac and Cheese? McRobot? Methuselah and Mannequin?
They'd provide more comic fodder than Dick Cheney shooting someone in the face.

By the way...

What do you get when you mix old and plastic?

I'm not sure but it doesn't hold together real well.
