I remember the erie calm projected on the New Orleans news before the surge. Like the eye itself.

I lived on Miami Beach during Andrew. Living on Meridian Ave, half way between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic ocean, I figured this is safe. Surounded by Art Deco buildings. Buidings that were made to last. We got lucky on that Beach. Distruction was all around but we somehow we made it.
this However may be a catastrophic event of Biblical proportions.
