Actually, Joe Leiberman said something I actually agreed with this morning, - that the parties and/or the administration must be able to perform their multiple duties even in times of disaster or emergency.

So, in other words, cancelling the convention is just them admitting that they are not able to walk and chew gum at the same time.

The convention should have gone on but without the balloons and confetti and most of the unnecessary speeches.

There is business to do and governing needs to go on even in emergencies.

If they can not figure out how to do both at the same time they are showing weakness.
