We started hearing about it hours (minutes?) after she was identified as his choice. Johnny didn't make the choice. His campaign did. Meaning it was POLITICAL, pure and simple.

Johnny wanted Lieberman or Ridge.

I'm betting Charlie Black nixed Johnny's choices, and Steve Schmidt chose Palin. No one is confirming who did what, but *everyone* is saying it wasn't Johnny's choice.

This is a campaign issue, as I see it. Johnny is so fucking weak that he doesn't make his own choices.
