It's not clear there are direct links to any individual church and Joel's army since they operate as a cellular organization within many churches. I.E. each church they operate within has a recruitment cell of like minded people. IIRC, Palin's church believes that Alaska is to be the last bastion for the forces of God during the end times.

Other good links above, there is plenty there to be troubled by, especially the witch hunting.
