This Bailout Should be Contingent on Paulson's Resignation
1. Conflict of interest re: huge beneficiary Goldman Sachs.

2. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x4069691">Lies in today's hearing.

3. And most importantly, He helped get us into this fucking mess.

Time for some accountability.

3. Quite true.
But our Very Serious Opposition Party Leadership has already deemed that there shall be.

So I want a few tons of flesh in exchange.

8. You're in good company.
Nelson the ass-licker, Martinez the thug and Feeney the weeny are e-mail regulars. They all get mailed at the same time with copies to each other...imagine Nelson's confusion.

5. Accountability is important
even if mainly symbolic. Especially if symbolic.

6. No bailout, none, under any conditions.
If I wanted this kind of shake-down I would open a convenience store in an inner city. There will be no Great Depression on these clowns say so. It's as etheral a threat as Osama been Forgotten and as likely as not one, but two, 110 story buildings falling in their own footprint from an attack by Cessna pilots.

10. Nelson, Martinez, and Feeney all get the same e-mail cc'ed
damn near daily for the last 3-4 years, poor dears, imagine their confusion to be dumped in the same basket. After that it's don't pay, don't play. Don't file with the IRS and don't buy anything on time.

We've done this before, don't you remember? "Come on kid, buy a house, we'll make it easy." "No thanks, me and my room-mates here, well we like each other and we like our lives." "Well kid, how about a car then, nice, bright, shiny, new?" "No thanks, the 3 of us share gas and insurance and when we go somewhere it's usually all together."

I've had an on going tax dispute since 2004, to date all I've received is a case number via voice mail and I've bought nothing on time. If I want it, I save and I buy it.

Have you become so soft that you've forgotten how it's done? My generation brought the economy to it's knees and forced the Republican Party to make a sitting President to resign the office.

Have you forgotten? Don't pay and don't play until you get what you want. When you decide to play again, the pay part is assessed into the play and forgiven. Have you forgotten, WE, are both the product and the commodity, play hard to get.

of the true urgency of the situation than anything else.

12. Will this thing get to the floor of the house? Isn't the speaker's job to set the
agenda? I am really hoping this thing isn't brought to the floor on Friday, it's just way too fast and not thought out.
