What happened at the White House?

Will there be a debate tomorrow?

Has McCain started up his campaign yet?

5. Ok the short story. Deal for bail out nearly done. Mickey Mouse McSame shows up..
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 10:04 PM by MichiganVote
suspends his campaign but not really, says he's not going to debate Obama but shows up in Wash. D.C. when summoned by the idiot in chief, tries to derail talks re: bail out, succeeds in rousing cluster of house republicans who declare no vote for bail out and China is suspending loans to US. Palin all but declared a laughing stock by CNN and McSame's appearance at Friday night debate in question.

Business as usual......

8. OK, here goes...
The House Democrats and Republicans reach a deal, then does the Senate. CNN and MSNBC announced that a deal had been reached.

Then, at the White House, with McCain, Obama, Pelosi, and Bush present, Boehner suddenly says no and says he wants a new plan with more tax breaks for corporations and more deregulation. They tries to present this as a McCain solution, but insiders and reporters were quick to note that McCain barely said a word throughout the entire meeting. Many, Obama included, react incredulously.

So no deal was reached.

Now all the Democrats and many Republicans are confused and mad at McCain. Oh yes, and the McCain camp has STILL been tight-lipped about whether he will or won't show up tomorrow.

9. I think the FUBAR post nailed it...
"FUBAR n/t"

Anyway--the whitehouse meeting was a disaster, no progress has been made, lots of bickering, and Mc* hasn't said if he's debating tomorrow or not.

White House:

Bush Obama McCain at the table. McCain said nothing.
House Repub screamed: no deal buddies I want my candy.
Shelby came out todl reporters : no deal.

So no deal.

Debate:

Yes. But McCain may not go. If not Obama will hold townhall. Haha.

McCain's campaing:

14. McCain landed in Washington like the
Big Red One storming Omaha Beach met buy scumbag Joementum. Just prior to that the Senate, both Democratic and Republican announced they had a tentative agreement on the bail-out. But when McCain showed up the deal fell through now he is preforming a dog and pony show pretending to be working on a bi-partisan deal to save us all.
