1. Or else McCain sits at home
While Obama answers more questions about lapel pins and Jeremiah Wright.

4. I'm hoping that no matter what happens,
C-Span continues coverage. That's the channel I'll have on.

5. I'd love to see that. Obama and the moderator sitting in two chairs on the
stage, conversing, with the two empty podiums behind them. That would be great. He could be asked the same questions they'd planned for the debate, plus audience questions. I think this would be spectacular for Obama - hope it works out that way.

I don't see them canceling it. There are people who are going to show up, the press corps is en route, advertising time has been purchased.

Hope I'm right.

7. Even his own party has said his little stunt to washington was pointless and damaging
He's got no theater to act in. He left his makeup girl at the Couric show.

to Mika's question about what will happen if mcsame doesn't show tonight, Todd said that there would be some sort of townhall meeting but nobody will televise it! Why is Sen. Obama penalized for doing what he promised to do and get no media coverage? Then, mcsame wins or moves the scenario up a notch to try to re-schedule for Thursday in lieu of the vp debate (like he's been trying to do).
