On The View it was claimed that Vietnam normalization couldn't have happened without McCain

In McCain's book, written in 1999 BEFORE he went on a 24/7 lying binge for this election, he clearly states that he was an emotional wreck during that entire mission, damn close to falling apart many times, and that normalization could NEVER have happened without Kerry's leadership. He also credited Kerry for keeping him from breaking down completely during that time.

In many ways McCain's POLITICAL resume is beginning to look like Saint Ronnie's. Made of myths and legends that get repeated so often that they become part of the historical record, yet have no basis in REALITY.

I thought (or hoped) it was "just" a lying binge, but with his selection of Vlad the imPaler I'm convinced that McPOW is a Convert to the Neo-Con Cause - look at his eyes! The glassiness of conversion. The old McCain was not such a terrible demon, this new guy is scary - in or out of an election.

How many Republicans that Hate anything Clinton will do the exact opposite of anything Clinton suggests. This will sway far more Republicans agains McCain than it will Democrats to Mccain...IMO
