Free market theory, not the lack of a bailout will bring the next "great depression"
I can see why, in theory we need this bailout, but I am totally against it unless underlying causes are discussed, and at least some movement is made to address solutions. GO NANCY!

Lack of affordable health care, declining wages, out of control housing prices, outrageous executive pay, outsourcing, predatory lending, sucky public schools, inflation - maybe by stalling the bailout, we can get some of this stuff to the forefront.

And why do we have to hear about the stock market on every local and national news show every hour of every day? Yes, people are dependent on the stock market, but many more people are dependent on wages and jobs, can't we have 5 mins of labor news with 1/2 of column in the newspaper?

1. There is no such thing as a free market...
...all markets must have rules, contrary to the rantings of Chicago or Austrian School ideologues.
