What could Obama do to drive him to a meltdown?

Freepers might get all excited and pee in their pants over McCain's temper, but most people will be horrified.

My guess is that Obama will insinuate that McCain was playing politics all this time - which will be an attack on the POW's honor!

3. it wouldn't surprise me if he blows up.
He's on the edge of falling apart to begin with and while knowing he's been selected as his party's designated loser ( like Bob Dole ), he didn't sign on to lose what little remains of his tattered dignity.

He's plenty pissed, I'm guessing

it's not going to take much to push him over. If Obama gets one solid hit, Johnny's gonna blow!

6. Unfortunately, this debate is supposed to be about foreign policy stuff.
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 01:08 PM by Sebastian Doyle
So there won't really be much opportunity to question Grampa's constant flip-flopping and admitted cluelessness on the economy.

Maybe Obama can bring up his references to Czechoslovakia and the USSR in the present tense. Or his numerous references to Iran being in league with Al Qaeda - especially since Holy Joe won't be in the house to help McCrazy out this time.

8. Yeah, but there's going to be questions on economic stuff, too.
Not that there isn't plenty to mock (and fear) in McCain's foreign policy platform.

13. The Financial Crisis will take over the Topic of Debate
Make no doubt about it Floks

The Bail Out is on the Lips and Minds of every American. To attempt to "Side-Step" the issue is political suicide

9. He'll try to make the most of the obvious age difference.

McLame will probably try to find a way to use Bentsen's line that made Quayle look like such a schmuck.

Obama ought to try to push his buttons by teasing him about his Letterman no-show.

He'll more likely fall asleep or babble so incoherently that Rev. Muthie will think he's been saved.

12. Much as I hope we see his temper flare, I think we're going to see a repeat of Saddleback --
joking & making light of serious questions. Republicans don't mind when their politicians take a serious venue & mock the whole process with levity.

Of course, if a dem were to do it...

14. "Joking and Making Light" won't fly with the American people ..
right now.

$1 Trillion Dollars and or Great Depression is No laughing matter. To do that would all but assure Obama of a "Land-slide-Victory" come November. The Jokes about McSame's incompetence would not let up right up to Obama's being sworn in as the next President of the United States

19. Being caught Lieing in the Debates
would only hurt him in the long run

Sure he might enjoy a bump in the polls for a day or 2, but at a cost of the News Media blasting him for weeks.

And yes - the Media is jumping ship like most Americans

23. "What could Obama do to drive him to a meltdown?"
Just be himself.

What pisses the freepers off most of all is that Obama doesn't get flustered when they pull their crap. He doesn't panic and make a fool of himself. He considers his answers and thinks before he responds.

He doesn't react like they want him to.

Do you know how to drive an idiot crazy? No, how?

Do you know how to drive an idiot crazy? No, how?

Do you know how to drive an idiot crazy? No, how?
