Hmm. CBS allows pros like Couric & Letterman go about their business w/out cutting feeds or editing

the tape -- basically giving us two most decisively damaging salvos agaisnt McCain. Granted, Dave and Katie were just doing their job -- but I really believe this could have turned out real different or maybe not at all. And all Dave got was a scolding from execs? Amazing. The west coast feed was never pulled -- plenty of swing state voters saw Letterman's rant when the damage could have been somewhat mitigated if CBS really wanted to. But they did not. I think it i over for McCain.
