2. How many other things use a lot of sugar?
I suspect we will see much more of this in near future.

4. I bought what I thought was a 1/2 gallon of Dryers Vanilla and guess what...

I took it out to put it away once I got home and noticed that that familiar white box with brown stripes seemed smaller in my hand..Omg, I looked at the amount on the carton. We are not gonna be able to say to our significant other (if we have one) can you go to the store to get a 1/2 gallon of ice cream. No we will have to say can you go to the store and get a Quart and 1/2. Yet it cost more. Do they think we are stupid or what..many things are smaller, have less in them, yet the same or more in price.

5. Even my 4YO noticed
Quaker chewy granola bars--"Now! Ten in a box instead of eight! Aren't you thrilled?" Not exactly. "Mama...why is this granola bar so small?"

7. Coffee also -- a "pound" of coffee has been 13 oz. for a long time, but the latest morph is the
new "Refill Pack," makes "refilling your canister more convenient" -- with only 11.3 ounces of coffee. The size and shape of the vacuum-pack package is nearly the same -- the change is noticeable by heft much more than by appearance. Price is the same, of course, for 13% less.

8. This is beginning to mess up my recipes
When I go for what used to be a standard size... I have to adjust my recipes to the smaller packages and it's really beginning to piss me off.

I'd like them to be honest and just raise the price.
