Perhaps my mind is clouded with the residues of my adolescent party years, but I see some parallels between the repugs playbook and one of my all time favorite bits of bathroom wall wisdom. Found on a shithouse wall near you:

Those who write on bathroom walls
roll their shit in little balls.
Those who read those words of wit
eat those little balls of shit.

Polish those turds up. Break them into nice, bite sized peices and people will gobble it up, not even realizing that it's shit.

I just returned home from a large community festival in Franklin, Pennsylvania (NW corner of the state). Obama people were busy registering voters and chatting with people. Very nicie to see. No McCain presence at all. And, this is very conservative territory here. This is extremely encouraging.
