Poll question: Most of MSNBC's shows are done on location.

They have done this during the conventions, and on debate days.

Hardball With Chris Matthews does this; Countdown With Keith Olbermann does this; even Rachel Maddow does this (when they don't pre-empt her).

By doing this, MSNBC allows for a background filled with people, signs and sometimes unexpected conversations.

However, there is one MSNBC program that is noticeably absent from this list: Race To The White House with David Gregory.

Why doesn't David Gregory do this?
