Just heard that on NBC's pre-game show from Bob Costas.

:-( Poor Keith. I didn't see him on NBC's pregame and wondered what was up.

5. ugh, I hate strep throat
I don't get it as much as I did when I was a kid, but when I do, it's extremely bad. I hope Olbermann gets well soon. :(

7. I've had a scratchy throat all weekend but I think it's from allergies.

8. Hope he changes out his toothbrush--it can carry the strept
Yep, really. You're supposed to invest in a new toothbrush after you get diagnosed with strept since the germ can live on in your toothbrush and you can get reinfected after you are off the antibiotics. I usually get a new one after I've been on antibiotics for a few days.

11. Nah, not at all
Just one of those things I've learned as a nurse..and as a mom of kids who have had strept throughout the years.

10. I got it twice in one year. Nasty, nasty thing, especially as an adult.
Really high fever, and you start wondering if you're dying. I hope he gets on the right meds right away and rests for the three days or so he really needs.
