Edited on Mon Oct-13-08 09:14 AM by MNDemNY
With our upcoming victory, in the White House, and on the hill, I would like to see the Democrats Ram-rod through huge public works projects, Infrastructure improvements to roads, bridges, parks, arts organizations, schools etc..etc... Sound familiar? Yes, and proven to work. JUST DO IT !!! The public is in a state of mind for it, we cannot squander this opportunity!!! True progressivism unleashed!!!:toast: :toast: :toast:      :hi: :dem: :dem: :dem: :dem: :dem: :dem: :dem: :kick: :kick: :grouphug: :pals: :woohoo: :woohoo:

2. The same way we pay for the "bailout" and the war.
Only this WILL create jobs, good jobs, stimulating the economy and increasing tax receipts, from the bottom up, the way it should be. If we are going to put anything on our children's "credit card" let it be things that actually improve this country and are proven to work. Don't buy into that argument. If we can do the bailout, we can do this.Trickle UP works!!!!!!

4. Obama, yes
Edited on Mon Oct-13-08 09:20 AM by BeFree
Congress not so much. Obama can't be beat, either with or without the control of the VCM - Vote Counting Machines.

Congress, now that's another story. You may choose to ignore the VCM, at our democracies peril. But I hope you don't.
