Dutchmen on trial for spreading HIV at sex parties

HIV-positive men told a Dutch court on Wednesday how a three-member gay gang tried to infect them with the AIDS virus at sex orgies.

"I feel fear, anger, sadness and anxiety," one of the alleged victims testified before the district court in Groningen on the third day of the week-long trial.

"I have lost a lot of weight," lamented the student, who is infected with HIV.

The three accused, all HIV-positive, are charged with drugging gay men at sex orgies, raping them, and injecting them with blood contaminated with HIV. They are aged 39, 49 and 50.

6. Anyone who would do such a thing is not human.

It is not a normal human trait to enjoy seeing other suffer, or intentionally inflicting pain upon another person. I don't know what happens to people to make them do such things, but somewhere along the way they've lost their humanity and become a monster.

1. It is despicable to purposefully infect another person.

2. Attending gay sex orgies with strangers may not be the best decision if one is concerned about contracting sexually transmitted diseases.

I hang out in an HIV positive chat room and we get people all the time who want to be infected. They WANT the virus. We call them bug chasers.

Bizarre psychological conduct. I've had medical doctors tell me they have patients who confess that secret to them. Deep down they want to get infected. Very hard to understand.
